What is Plasma Pen?

How it works…

The plasma pen converts electrical energy into electro-static energy which is transmitted to a 0.4mm probe, discharging a flash of plasma onto the skin. This, in turn, contracts the epidermis by creating external micro-traumas and we encourage it to generate fresh, beautiful new skin cells at the surface which deliver incredible skin tightening, lift and rejuvenation. The plasma flash we create transfers to the skin with absolute precision and does not harm any surrounding tissue. This thermal disruption later causes excess skin to dry superficially into tiny crusts which fall off in the form of tiny flakes within days.

Skin Prep & Feed…

Clients are expected to prep their skin on Vitamin A or high grade skincare as well as Vitamin C supplementation prior and post treatment to ensure the best results. When treating larger areas (£295+) Vitamin C (80) 1000 mg will be gifted on the day of treatment to enable you to feed the skin from within for the first 80 days of healing.  Other supplements and products are recommended and will be prescribed at consultation including a high quality sunscreen.

Why Plasma Pen?

Aftercare

Good wound care is vital following this treatment.  No heat/steam or sweat for at least 24 hours post-treatment. There may be some sensitivity in the area treated for around 24 hours and some swelling, especially around the eye area, this will abate in 1-5 days.  For 5-7 days the treated area must be kept as dry as possible and uncovered by makeup or skincare, it should also be fully guarded against sunlight for 12 weeks post-treatment with the use of daily sunscreen. Some tinted aftercare is available should it be needed, aftercare ointment will also be provided.
