Waxing
Large & less sensitive areas will be treated using Waxperts original strip wax. Facial & intimate areas will always be treated using Waxperts Original & Bare Face hot waxes. Hot wax is gentler to the skin and is superb at removing shorter hairs. It is also commonly said to be less painful than the strip waxing method.
Before your waxing appointment…
We do advise that for optimal waxing results you keep your skin well moisturised between appointments and regularly exfoliate or body brush. This helps the hairs break through the surface of the skin, avoiding ingrown hairs and offering a much smoother finish. We are unable to wax clients with any active skin conditions including sunburn, allergies or infections.
Waxing appointments are recommended at 3-6 week intervals dependent on the speed of the hair growth. Hair should be the length of a grain of rice for optimum results.
Aftercare
Avoid hot water, heat treatments and sun exposure for at least 24 hours post waxing. Sunscreen should be worn to avoid burning and hyper-pigmentation.
